About

Hi, everyone! You’re probably here because you’re wondering who the heck I am, and what this blog is about. Well, in a nutshell…

I’m Jess…

…and this blog, primarily, is about good food!

…and by good food, it should be known that I also mean quirky, unique food. If it’s weird, I probably like it.

You won’t find a “diary” of daily eats – any more. Rather, random happenings, musings, bakings and what else is cookin’ in the kitchen.

This is Teddie, the love of my life. He keeps most of his musings to himself over at his blog, but it would be a lie if I said he’d never make an appearance here. He does own me, after all.

And because it seems to be the hip thing these days – I’m also an avid photographer. While my food photography is a continous learning process, I shoot a lot of portraits, events, and random sights.

I have an Etsy shop, if you’re interested in checking me out!

Other than that, I like to think I have a relatively good sense of humor and a relatively relaxed outlook on life. I enjoy life’s simple pleasures and find the little things most valuable. TIme with family, a reliable steed, a good fig, and fresh peanut butter…and I’m set.
